Mr Noukone, Anouxa Kayak Tour

Looking for a more adventurous side of Champasak? Try a Kayak Tour on the Mekong !

“The CHAMPA project is great because it helped develop tourism in Champasak and bring new activities to the area. I had wanted to offer kayaks at Anouxa Guesthouse for a long time, so I was happy to hear about this opportunity. I was able to buy five kayaks and all the necessary equipment, and now I have a new activity to offer!”

Mr Noukone

Mr. Noukone felt that something was missing in Champasak: a fun outdoor activity for visitors looking to spend more time in nature. Alongside motorbike and bicycle rentals, he now provides a kayak tour in Anouxa guesthouse thanks to the CHAMPA Project.

Still new, he’s hoping for more visitors to discover this immersive experience on the legendary Mekong, with beautiful views of Don Daeng Island, Champasak village and the sacred mountain Phu Kao.

Afraid to explore the Mekong on your own? Don’t worry, experienced local guides accompany every tour, ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience on the river.

Kayak tours are available during the dry season (November to March), with departures at 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM. For booking information and practical details, please visit the Google Maps page: https://maps.app.goo.gl/Pdx6Z1Dk4jiDGaARA.
